World leading refugee policy research body, the Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law at the University of NSW, has released an updated version of its principles that should guide Australia’s refugee policy. In our view, these principles are consistent with the Biblical call to practise justice and mercy. A full version (28 pages) explains the principles, how they could be put into practice in Australia, and gives examples of how they are being implemented elsewhere in the world.
